Deep within a forgotten corner of Sussex, England, lies the digital sanctuary of Miss Worm — the narrative persona of British author J.M. Valentine.
Whether through the written word or her human-read narrations, she specialises exclusively in classic ghost stories, Victorian literature, Gothic horror, and original hauntings. As a dedicated historical fiction author and audio narrator, her work constantly explores the gossamer veil betwixt the living and the lost.
When not recording in her study for her growing congregation of the curious, J.M. Valentine can be found penning traditional historical fiction and atmospheric mysteries, including the historical adventure series beginning with To Weave A Tangled Web. She shares her creative space with an unusually friendly ghost and an assortment of cats.
The study is currently undergoing a structural exhumation. A new website is under construction, but the Friday Night Frights continue unabated.
